$3,500 over one year to purchase new camping equipment that will increase access to quality scouting activities for youth in St. George.

Brant & District Football Club
$10,500 over one year to provide appropriate safety and practice equipment to accommodate the increased registration in minor football.

Brant Historical Society
$51,900 over two years to improve public access to the Society's large collection of artifacts and archival material about the history of Brant County.

The Brant Men of Song
$12,700 over one year to purchase a portable electric piano, sound system and new uniforms, allowing the choir to provide high quality free performances in local nursing and retirement homes.

Brant Synchro Club
$8,900 over one year to purchase underwater audio and visual equipment and other training materials which will be used to provide enhanced programming for youth in synchronized swimming.

Brant United Way
$7,200 over three months to build the organization's capacity to more effectively maintain and use campaign related data, to better support the many volunteers who work on the annual United Way campaign.

Brant Youth Volleyball Club
$8,600 over six months to attract additional coaches and develop a house league program for young volleyball players.

Brantford and District Supervised Access Centre
$24,000 over one year to enable Dalhousie Place to promote and expand supervised access services to local families that will benefit children and parents experiencing family difficulties.

Brantford Minor Lacrosse Association Inc.
$10,000 over one year to provide new goalie equipment for the house league teams and lacrosse sticks for the spring clinic.

Brantford Symphony Orchestra Association Inc.
$30,000 over two years to enable the association to implement strategies to boost ticket sales and to improve overall coordination by engaging a general manager.

The Brantford YM-YWCA
$25,000 over two months to purchase new equipment for the summer day camp, providing safe recreational opportunities for up to 1,400 children.

Brantwood Residential Development Centre
$22,000 over six months to assess the financial viability and need for a fee-for-service day program offered by the Crossing All Bridges Learning Centre that would provide a safe environment for developmentally challenged youth.

Caledonia Agricultural Society
$25,000 over two months to make repairs to the grandstand on the fairgrounds, including enhancements that will make the grandstand more accessible to people with disabilities.

Caledonia Lawn Bowling Club
$21,500 over three months to purchase new lights, a greens mower and bowling equipment for junior players.

Caledonia Old Mill Corporation
$10,000 over one year to develop a new arts and theatre festival in Caledonia. The initiative will attract tourists to the area.

Caledonia Regional Chamber of Commerce
$23,100 over one year to assist the newly formed Caledonia Pipes and Drums Band in purchasing uniforms and instruments.

Cayuga and District Chamber of Commerce
$24,500 over one year to produce a 60 minute video on the history of the Haldimand area, and an interactive DVD for use by local schools, museums, tourist booths and cultural attractions. This material will also be available on a website.

Children's Aid Society of Brant
$5,300 over one year to increase the number of available foster homes in Brant through a promotional campaign.

The Children's Safety Village of Brant
$40,000 over one year to help launch the Children's Safety Village of Brant, a new tool for teaching safety to young children, by supporting critical fundraising, management and marketing strategies.

Community Parent Drop In c/o The Children's Aid Society of Brant
$44,800 over two years to develop a Drop In Parenting Program in the Brantford city core for parents and their infants under 12 months..

$9,400 over four months to complete a needs analysis on respite services for children and youth with mental health and behavioural difficulties.

$25,000 over six months to contribute to the repair and resurfacing of six tennis courts so that the community will continue to have access to high quality recreational tennis facilities.

$3,500 over three months to develop a strategic plan for the East Haldimand Hospice Program, to support collaborative service delivery and co-ordination among health care providers for patients who are dying and their families.

$15,000 over one year to develop an Employment Support Program for consumer/survivors of mental health services.

Exceptional Waters Program - Paris to Brantford - Phase III c/o Brantford Community Foundation
$124,000 over two years to develop sustainable community stewardship for the Paris to Brantford Exceptional Waters Program for the Grand River, in partnership with the Brant Waterways Foundation.

Family Counselling Centre of Brant
$15,000 over one year to enhance educational and computer literacy programming at the Eastdale Drop-In & Resource Centre and the Family Relief Services Centre.

Federated Women's Institute of Canada
$33,400 over one year for repairs to the Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead, an important Brant County tourist site.

Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant
$75,000 over eight months to contribute to the installation of an elevator making the second floor galleries wheelchair accessible and the conversion of the original sun porch into a gift shop which will feature the work of local arts guilds.

Grand River Gymmies Inc.
$9,400 over three months to purchase new gymnastics equipment and provide children with safer gymnastics programs in Haldimand.

The Hagersville and District Chamber of Commerce
$21,500 over four months to contribute to the installation of a new air conditioning system in the Hagersville Community Centre, providing additional comfortable meeting space during the summer months.

Hagersville Lawn Bowling Club c/o Ontario Lawn Bowls Association
$18,500 over five months to improve the accessibility and lighting at the Hagersville Lawn Bowling Club.

Haldimand-Norfolk Community Senior Support Services Inc.
$92,700 over two years to establish a regional fundraising strategy for the organization in order to better meet the needs of frail seniors and adults with disabilities living in the community.

Haldimand-Norfolk Literacy Council
$38,900 over one year to better promote the Literacy Council's role in the community and to support its efforts to generate additional revenue to comprehensively address the community's literacy needs.

$35,000 over one year to renovate the kitchen of a well-used local emergency shelter for women and children who have experienced violence.

$11,600 over one year to replace two kitchen ranges in order to enable the Ladies Auxiliary to continue to offer catering services to a wide variety of community groups.

Langton Thunderbirds Jr. Development Hockey Club
$5,500 over one year for dressing room renovations including the installation of exhaust fans for this Junior D community hockey team.

Long Point Bird Observatory Program Development Project c/o Norfolk Field Naturalists
$18,000 over four months to develop community education and outreach initiatives for the Long Point Bird Observatory, and to begin planning associated eco-tourism initiatives.

Lynn Valley Trail Association
$75,000 over nine months to repair structural defects in the Robinson bridge along the Lynn Valley Trail.

$26,500 over one year to renovate the display space and kitchen facilities of a new museum about Dunnville's history as a WWII flight-training base.

Port Dover Lions Club
$5,500 over one year to help complete the lakeshore walking and biking trail, enhancing recreational opportunities for the users of Silver Lake park.

Royal Canadian Legion Waterford (Ont. No. 123) Branch
$25,000 over six months to assist with renovating the Waterford Legion Memorial Hall heating ventilation and air conditioning system. The building is used for many community activities.

Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 79 (Simcoe)
$6,300 over one year to contribute to the cost of renovations that will allow local non-profit groups to continue to have access to free or reduced rent, high-quality meeting and programming space at the Legion.

Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 90(Telephone City)
$16,600 over six months to replace the roof of this well-used community facility in the Brantford area.

Sexual Assault Centre of Brant
$86,000 over two years to develop a fundraising program for the agency and pilot a counselling program for youth aged 14 to 16 who have been sexually assaulted.

Simcoe and District Fish and Game Club
$21,900 over 20 months to survey the biological and physical conditions of the Lynn River and its tributaries, and assess the current quality of the aquatic habitat and its suitability for restocking with various fish species.

Simcoe Lawn Bowling Club
$8,200 over one year to help replace outdoor overhead lighting which will maintain the community's access to high quality lawn bowling.

South & Metcalfe Non-Profit Housing Corp.
$65,000 over two years to build the fundraising expertise of board members and staff in order to enhance the supports available for women and children who have experienced family violence.

St. John's Drum and Bugle Corps
$41,000 over one year to make improvements to the organization’s building, including upgrading the heating system, renovating washroom facilities, installing a dishwasher and providing the entrance with an access ramp for people with disabilities.

$30,000 over one year to help replace musical instruments to maintain the community's access to a local, high-quality, drum and bugle corps.

$4,500 over six months to assist with “A Tribute to Loyalists in the Long Point Settlement and All Loyalists” at Vittoria Hall on June 21, 2003.

Visual Heritage Project: Phase II c/o Cayuga and District Chamber of Commerce
$60,100 over nine months to create multimedia tools to preserve and promote heritage in the Brant and Norfolk Counties of the Grand River area.

Vittoria Lions Club
$2,300 over one month to upgrade the Vittoria Scout Hut with new windows and insulation which will reduce operating costs.

Woodland Cultural Centre
$18,000 over six months to support “Six Nations Festival of Words 2002,” which will introduce local writers to the technical aspects of playwriting.

The YWCA of Hamilton
$15,000 over one year to provide a strategic business plan for a youth recreation and resource centre in Cayuga.
